Georgette Bond
Georgette B is an accomplished samba dance instructor, celebrated for her vibrant artistry and deep cultural commitment. She is currently a Passista of Paraíso do Tuiuti under the direction of Alex Coutinho and the Rainha de Escola of Inocentes de Belford Roxo, a prestigious title awarded to her in 2025. Georgette began her samba journey in 2018 as a path of healing and reconnection with the dances of the African diaspora, and her dedication has taken her from online training to Rio de Janeiro, where she has earned positions with renowned samba schools. She is also the co-founder of Unidos Atlanta Escola de Samba and remains dedicated to upholding the cultural integrity of Brazilian samba, training under legendary figures while guiding students to embody the rhythm with respect, authenticity, and joy.
